Good People

There was a huge car accident and when the lady flipped her truck she found her self trapped underneath it. When passing cars saw where she was laying they quickly began to stop and try and help. When a few of them got together and began to try and lift the truck and did so others pulled the lady out from underneath the truck saving her life. If it wasn't for these men and women someone might have lost a wife or mother.

New York New York

Students in New York were recently caught paying other students to go and take their tests for them. It turned in to a big investigation and they are all in huge trouble facing big consequences such as prison or not getting to go on in school for a little bit or being put on probation. Everyone was going to stay quiet for the situation but then they were offered money to start giving up names so the students started to give up people left and right for the payoff.

Child Abuse

Second scandal in the NCAA this year. Another teacher is being accused of child abuse or sexual abuse. How are the students going to feel safe being around all these weird people trying to do stuff with children. The story's never seem to stop of old men trying to mess with little kids. This is descusting and should never happen it shouldn't even be something that we should haft to worry about but I suppose that we do.

Jenks vs. Union

A huge game to decide who is going to attend the State Championship game. Jenks and Union are going to battle for the second spot againsed Broken Arrow. Jenks seems to always be in the title game but not this year. Union has beat them out and Jenks can not believe it. This year Broken Arrow will be playing Jenks for the titles and maybe just maybe Union or Jenks will not be the team crowned state Champion for the year 2011.

CD band at the weed

Tonight im going to a concert that I have been looking forward to for a while. I plan of having a great time, I have a cute date and my dancing shoes on. My mom is not so happy with who I am taking but that is OK. Regardless I am going to have fun and enjoy my time here at OSU/NOC.

Plane Crash

Just before the Iowa State we had a unpleasant surprise, for the second time our basketball team has lost teammates and coaches. Our girls head coach and assistant coach were in a plane crash. We are all mourning the death of the coach's and keep their families and students in our prayers.  Sometimes you haft to set back and ask yourself, when are we going to get a break.

Losing

Oklahoma State football has been great this season it is almost like we do not know how to lose. Then we played Iowa State, our boys looked like they did not even know how to play the game. We lost the game in overtime in a ugly way ruining our shot for the championship game. This should not ever have happened this was not the team to get beat buy, now we play OU and might not ever have the opportunity to play in the BCS Title game ever again.

Basketball Season

Now we do not only have football to watch we also have basketball to watch. I just recently attended our first OSU basketball game of the season. It was alot of fun but a bit crowded but all and all it was a good time. I snuck in a few people from back home and got caught but there is not much a five dollar bill wont fix. So we got to watch the game in peace and have a good time.

Randy Rogers Band

Tonight we are going to what we like to call the weed. We go here to two step with our OSU classmates and have a fun time. Tonight we have the treat of the Randy Rogers band to play some live music for us to two step to, it should be a great time. Me and all my roommates will be there, we hope to see lots of pretty girls so we can dance with them.

Meeting The Parents

This weekend I get the pleasure of meeting my beautiful girlfriends parents I am so nervous I can hardly help but be scared to death. I here her dad is hard but her mother is easy, I am usually very good at getting in good with the parents but I have a bad feeling about this one. On the other hand she has the same issue she gets to meet my sister and mother and step dad. If I tried to explain how nervous she is I would be typing for days, it is going to be a fun weekend.

OSU is back

Parent weekend is approaching us and we get to enjoy another weekend of tailgating and OSU football. My roommates and I are very excited and preparing for the game and for our parents to come visit us. Showing them what we do on a game day will be allot of fun there is allot of preparation and anticipation. When the time comes though it is all worth the hard work it is always a good time and I am excited to show my mother and step dad what we get to do often.

Baby Killed

Back home we have a huge issue with meth, there is a young lady that had recently had a baby and was cracked out to where she had no idea what she was doing when it came to raising the child. During the middle of my senior year she got high, she put the baby in the washing machine and turned it on killing it. Just recently after she had pleaded insanity she went to tril. I think she should either be killed or sentenced to life with no parole no one should get away with murder because they are on drugs.

Missing The Game

I was setting back in my chair dreaming about tailgating, my mind was everywhere thinking would I eat a hotdog or maybe a hamburger. Would I put mustered on it or would I put ketchup, it has been nearly a month since our last OSU football game and I think I speak for everyone here in Stillwater saying lets play some football now. Men need football on the weekend it is like their morning richual you can not go without it. I am looking forward to the next game.

Bartlesville Druggies

Yesterday I was reading over my Facebook, I noticed one of my friends from high school had alot of comments on his status. I visited his site only to find out his status read, "just got out of jail f*** the police I would do it again right now." I gave him a call to find out what the problem was, well come to find out he got in a fight, a fight with a cop. My friend is a very conceded person and does not like to back down from anyone and with a little liquid courage and some drugs on you probably does not help his mind act appropriately and that caught up with him this last weekend.

Birthday Time

Today is my best buds birthday in the town of Stillwater. We all plan to go out on the town tonight and have a good time, all he wants is some beer but everyone knows I'm not twenty one. So we began to figure things out, we talked to older people about helping him out to make his birthday wishes come true. No one felt up to the task but we kept trying and kept trying until finally I called my cousin. He was up for the job and is going to make my buddies birthday exactly what he wished for thanks cuz.

Crazy Homework

Today I decided to do my English homework, I assumed it would take me a few hours to do so I began at three considering I had a hot date for dinner later that evening. As I began to work on my homework I realized I would probably not be attending this hot date. A few hundred hours passed and also a few naps and I was finally finished. I look down at my clock, it's the next morning. I have a test in thirty minutes and my hand is still cramped up from all the writing. I am looking forward to another English assignment today because my last one was a blast.

Pepe Over Stillwater

Today in Stillwater we are having our second rain since I arrived. Usually I am excited to see the rain because Oklahoma is a very dry state, but when it is 54 degrees outside and I am walking to my reading class you can imagine i am not a happy camper. It looks like we will be enjoying this fantastic weather and all students will be looking forward to the upcoming hot weather.

Let's Start a Riot

This week in the United Kingdom riots are taking place. The riots are very dangerous, people are getting injured and not being taken to the hospital because all the chaos. The police desperately needs to get it under control or they are going to face long term problems. The riots consist of robbing stores, burning items on the street and lots of fights breaking out.

Emergency

This week terrorist threats are at a all time high we are nearing 9/11 and need to take necessary precautions. This could be a time that the enemy would like to strike us again knowing the we are morning the loss of our loved ones. As bad as that may sound they do not care if we are hurting they would wish more hurt upon us at any time. I think that it is a necessary action for the people of the United States to let people know what could happen. The people in charge seem to be doing a good job.

Best Buds

My mother was in the hospital today I was scared for her heath. The doctor came out and told me that it was a false alarm, my family all gathered together to make me feel better but there was only one person who could do so. As I was setting in the hospital in walked that person, Chris Gray my cousin. He and I went together to see my mother and she was so happy to see the both of us together and here for her. At that moment it dawned on me that even in a bad situation you can be happy with your closest friends and family, I wont forget times like these.

Arizona Smash

Arizona came to town yesterday thinking that they were going to give the Oklahoma State University a run for their money. They were wrong OSU came out firing and making a point to the NCAA that they were a team everyone needed to keep their eyes on. Blackmen had a fantastic game making the Arizona defense feel like nothing, it was a big day for OSU football.

Highschool Legends (Free Choice)

During High School I was a very good golfer. I attended four out of four state tournaments finishing in the top ten in all of them. It is a good feeling to play golf with your friends in tournaments all around the state. I enjoyed my golf in previous years and plan on attempting to walk on at OSU in the upcoming years.

Football Season Is Closing In "Community Event"

This weekend is the first OSU football game, me and all my friends are all excited to be attending the first game of my freshmen year. OSU will be playing Louisiana-Lafeyette and hopefully be kicking some a**, I can not wait to attend.

Lost Loved Ones (Current World/US event)

I traveled home this weekend to get some home cooking from my mother. My family all gathered together to eat our dinner. We were also watching a little TV, and Everything was going great until the news came on. They began talking about fallen soldiers and how we have had eight in Oklahoma in the past few weeks. It hit me harder then most knowing that I have a few friends in the military, I started to think how forchanit I was to be attending college having the time of my life and not being in another country fighting. This moment will help me remember my friends more often and keep them in my prayers.
